Carolers stroll City Park during “A Christmas Carol Classic” to sing in the holiday cheer

Be sure to leave your Ipod at home if you run in “A Christmas Carol Classic” at City Park December 22. Carolers wearing authentic costumes will sing in the holiday cheer along the beautiful City Park course on pedicabs and by foot. Singers from the Victorian Caroling company, the Original Dickens Carolers as well as other groups will sing the lasts Christmas classics. There is a 10K option for more ambitious runners as well as a 5K run that still comes with all the bells and whistles. Young tots can hit the streets in the Tiny Tim 1K. Racers are encouraged to dress in spirit, wearing Santa hats, Christmas sweaters, reindeer antlers or any other Christmas get up! The race is foll lowed with more caroling, hot chocolate and cider in the pavilion are at City Park. “A Christmas Carol Classic” benefits the Denver Children’s Home, Denver’s oldest nonprofit. Denver Children’s Home works with Denver’s abused and neglected children by restoring hope and health through therapeutic, educational, and community-based services.
