An Event Not To Miss: Ice Age Social at DMNS

Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age takes visitors on a journey back to the time when these huge creatures roamed the Earth. A time-lapse animation transports visitors from the present to the ancient past. The exhibition is on display at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science beginning February 15, 2013.

Things are cooling off at the DMNS in celebration of the the newest exhibit at the Denver Musuem of Nature and Science: Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age. On Friday, March 8 head to the museum for specialty cocktails, an ice cream bar, cave painting, and get an up close look at some rarely seen megafauna from the musuems collection. You can even get your hands ready to throw an acient spear called an atlatl. Ticket includes live entertainment, admission to Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age, and one drink at the bar.
