DONE!

Why is the 13th Floor absent in most buildings? Find out at the nationally acclaimed 13th Floor haunted house, where nearly 100 actors will bring the legend of the 13th floor to life. Take a shaky elevator ride to the unlucky floor and experience the urban legend and the bizarre alternate reality of the supernatural.

This is the third year the haunted house has thrown this trick at visitors, but each season it becomes more advanced and realistic. Additional new highlights include: an impossibly large Yeti area featuring a custom built 12-foot Yeti animation; larger-than-life, animatronics monsters that will track your movements through the home; and a “Temple of Doom” area featuring a rock cave crawling with fossils and dinosaurs. The creators of 13th Floor have also expanded on crowd favorites with an improved laser swamp, Mayan tombs, shifting hallways, spinning tunnels, and much more, in order to provide an entirely new experience.

2012 marks the fifth season for the 13th Floor, which has quickly become the highest attended haunted house in Denver. This haunted house uses special effects that you would only see in movies to create the unthinkable.

THE ASYLUM!

The lines of real and created terror are blurred at The Asylum, where scare seekers can get a glimpse of what it was like in a real insane asylum. One of the most sought after haunted attractions in town, The Asylum is an actor-driven haunted house with a reputation as one of Denver’s scariest haunts. It depicts the actual history of real insane asylums in the 1800s with the nightmare of typical practices like electroconvulsive shock therapy, straitjackets and branding patients’ heads with a red hot iron.

This year, guests will get scared out of their minds with a redesigned layout with new rooms, new facades, high-tech features and animatronics, and 40 actors who come together to chill you to the bone. This haunted house makes such a scream it has been featured on the Travel Channel, and is rated as one of the best Haunted Houses with Hauntworld Magazine.

I love Halloween! The colors of this holiday are great (purple, orange, lime green…) and I decorate my house inside and out!
