The Story Line

Beautiful music and standout acting retell this true story of hope and tragedy. Eva Perón is a charismatic and powerful Argentinian who rose from the ashes to become First Lady. Eva Perón has been considered one of the world’s most powerful, controversial and  influential women. She was loved by her people as a champion for the poor, but also knocked for  greed and selfishness.

The Set and Cast

Tony nominee Josh Young and  Caroline Bowman star in Evita with outstanding performances. Caroline proves she’s a genuine triple-threat with her skillful song and dance numbers portraying Eva Perón herself. A bold set captures the essence of Argentina and its capitol Buenos Aires. Christopher Oram designed the set to move from the nightclub to a gorgeous palace with ease. Tango dancers move to the sounds of a full orchestra with the scenic backdrop. That bold, passionate feel pulls you into the story.

The Music

This seven time Tony-winning musical contains beautiful songs that could only enhance the passionate story. Some of the most loved and unforgettable songs in the performance include:

  • Don’t Cry For Me Argentina

Webber wrote this trademark song, beautifully added with Rice’s lyrics.

Also included are…

  • High Flying, Adored
  • Another Suitcase In Another Hall
  • You Must Love Me.
