A lover of all things vintage, Vicky Nash’s gears started turning when she saw a 1962 Shasta Airflyte headed to the landfill in Denver. Seeing past rusted and chipped paint, she brought the trailer home where it would be souped up her husband, Richard. “He can fix and build anything,” says Vicky. Equipped with a background of building multi-million dollar homes, Richard fully restored and modernized the trailer with electricity, plumbing and running water. It’s hauled by a 1961 Ford Galaxie, also restored by Richard, which was found in a field in Carbondale.

Paired with Vicky’s design work, the travel trailer is an absolute red shining beauty that hauls this couple on road trips throughout Colorado.   “It sparks memories for so many people,” says Vicky. “On our first road trip through western Colorado a gentlemen came over and said ‘This is like rolling art’ and that was such a compliment to us. We have never though of ourselves as artists but it really is art,” smiles Vicky.
