Celebrate autumn in the Mile High City with new warm treatments at The Spa and more.

The fall season in Denver is a happening time, from the Denver Broncos football games, to pumpkin patches and an abundance of glorious outdoor activities.  At Four Seasons Hotel Denver, fall also represents a time to enjoy spectacular seasonal specials.  Below are the top five fall happenings at Four Seasons Hotel Denver:

–        Fall Pampering at The Spa:  Unwind at The Spa at Four Seasons, an urban spa sanctuary featuring separate his-and-hers relaxation lounges complete with whirlpool and steam room, perfect to warm up in.  Now through December, experience a new signature fall treatment.  The 60-minute Sugar & Spice Scrub, USD 115.00, includes an exfoliating treatment with a warming blend of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg essential oils, in a luxuriating base of mango butter and organic sugar.  Softening the skin and warming the body, cinnamon oil increases circulation, while sugar exfoliates and mango butter nourishes. After the scrub, the treatment includes an application of a warm spice body oil.   The Cranberry Pumpkin Wrap, 75 minutes for USD 140.00, includes cranberry, orange and pumpkin seed oil combined in a nourishing blend of Shea butter and Safflower oil.  Rich in antioxidants, the wrap is highly beneficial for the skin. The treatment is followed by an application of Pumpkin Seed Shea Butter.

–        New Lunch Menu at EDGE Restaurant and Bar:  While 15 salads all USD 15.00 or less was a huge hit for summertime, and salads are still a staple on the EDGE menu, new additions ensure EDGE is the perfect lunch destination for fall.  Must-try fall dishes include the Root Vegetable and Cannellini Bean Chili with Cotija Cheese/Crema, USD 12.00; the Grilled Cheese with Cured Tomatoes/Crispy Prosciutto/ Torn Basil/ Ciabatta Bread, USD 14.00; and the EDGE Cuban, with Pulled Pork/ Ham/ Grainy Mustard/ Swiss Cheese / Pickle/ Chipotle Aioli, USD 16.00.  After lunch, or in the evening, be sure to enjoy one of the adult “haut chocolates” back on the menu at EDGE.  Favorites like the “Sleigh Ride,” with Hazelnut, Disaronno and Jack Daniel’s, and the “Snow Bird” with Lavender Milk, Stoli Chocolat and Frangelico, are the perfect warming beverage. Each of the “haute chocolates” is USD 10.00.  For the kids (or non-imbibers) two traditional options are available, for USD 6.00—the “Frostbite” with vanilla beans and raspberry sauce, and the “Gingerbread Man” with gingersnap crumbles.

–        Paris Comes to Denver:  Experience the highly-anticipated Passport to Paris exhibition at The Denver Art Museum. Opening on October 27, 2013, the exhibition will feature works from artists including Monet, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh and more.  A hotel package is the only way to experience VIP tickets, which include front-of-line access/no waiting, and the audio tour. Four Seasons Hotel Denver’s Passport to Paris Package ensures a trés chic experience. Including a one-night stay, French macaron cookies and two French martinis (or beverages of choice), and two VIP tickets to the exhibition, this package will have guests saying “ooh la la!”

–        Eat, Drink & Be Scary: Halloween at EDGE Bar:  EDGE Bar is celebrating Halloween on Friday, November 1 this year, and has teamed up with the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Colorado to host a fundraising event.  From 7:30pm to midnight, attendees of the “Deadly Intentions” Halloween party will enjoy hosted appetizers and two cocktails, DJ entertainment, reduced valet parking fees (USD 7.00), a reserved space in EDGE, and also, happy hour pricing for the entire evening.  Costumes are encouraged, and tickets can be purchased for USD 65.00 per person.  To keep up with the many events planned at EDGE this fall season and ongoing, be sure to “like” EDGE’s Facebook page.
