Expect bright and fresh decor to accompany your crisp pizza straight out of the oven. “Working the oven is like being a DJ on the mixing table. I have to spin and spin a lot. It takes a lot of practice but I got the hang of it,” says employee Donyale Paige.

Among the several options is the house favorite, the Live Basil Margherita. Crust is topped with a red sauce (made with organic San Marzano tomatoes) sea salt, imported olive oil and fresh live basil grown in house. You can also create your own. Choose from red, white, BBQ or pesto sauce, then from a feast of toppings that are sourced locally when possible. Gluten free options are also available. 11 inch pizzas range from $7-$9 and salads from $7-$8.
Rick Schaden and Tom Ryan, the team behind Smashburger and Tom’s Urban 24, brought the concept to Denver. “I was standing in Chipotle one day thinking you know there isn’t anything you can’t do that’s fast casual,” says Schaden. “Food trends are navigating towards healthy living. This is our contribution to the effort,” adds Ryan.
