Louisville’s Cherokee Triangle Art Fair Brings in Artists from Around the World

Artists from around the world come out to showcase and sell handmade art for the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair, in Louisville Kentucky. In it’s 42nd year, you can find an artist who makes jewelry from recycled bowling balls, paintings so beautiful you will want to superimpose yourself right in as well as horse statues made from wire. The fair, always the weekend before Derby, latches onto the spirit already mesmerizing the community. Proceeds benefit the Cherokee Triangle Neighborhood as well as fund concerts that play Sunday nights in Willow Park. “You get to see neighbors and friends you don’t see in day to day to life. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere out here and everyone is having a great time,” says Lynne Lyndrup, who is the chair of the association that puts on the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair.
