Review: Gluten Free Bar

When I am traveling or headed out on my next adventure, I always like to stash away a few healthy nutrition bars in my suitcase or backpack. It not only saves money and time but I can keep health in mind on the road. And if I decide to splurge at dinner I don’t feel so bad about it 😉 Keeping flavors mixed up is pretty important, too. Which is why my next kick is the Gluten Free Bar. There are a lot of tasty flavors too. so I can see this one sticking around  for quite awhile.

Here’s a look at the flavors: (The Peanut Butter & Chocolate Peanut Butter are my favorite). Cranberry toasted almond, chocolate peanut butter, peanut butter, coconut cashew crunch, dark chocolate coconut, and oatmeal raisin are also delicious.

The bar (manufactured in Grand Rapids, MI) is made with a base of toasted cashews and Virginia peanuts, certified gluten-free oats, crisped brown rice and pea protein (10-12 grams!). The bars are also low in sodium; sweetened with agave nectar, brown rice syrup, and dates instead of added sugar; and completely free of wheat, soy, cholesterol, trans fat, casein and dairy.
