Welcome to the Hotel Jerome- the ultimate marriage of luxury and location. The property recently underwent a strategic renovation to refresh the old world charm of the 124-year-old property. Historic charm and  20th century style flow seamlessly together. Original staircases and banisters remain in the grand lobby leading to the 94 guest rooms in the hotel.

Spacious and inviting, guestrooms capture the essence of mountain elegance. Richly furnished in Western motif, the design captures the history of the Colorado frontier. The bathrooms, outlined with sterling silver accents, are finished with white marble, octagonal tiles and oversized tubs. Each room is also equipped with flat screen TV’s sitting inside bronzed frames and Ipad’s that allow you to check local weather, order room service and book activities.

Other extensive amenities include outdoor heated pools, hot hubs and a three-treatment room spa at the Auberge Spa. Staying true to Aspen history, treatments use local minerals and medicinal plants once used by the Ute Indians.  Throughout the hotel, the dedicated staff doesn’t miss a beat- whether delivering a forgotten toiletry or offering a friendly smile each time you swing in the doors.

The on site J Bar is a landmark spot for food and drink. Try the Aspen Crud, a boozy shake, made with vanilla ice cream and bourbon– a favorite of locals. You can also find $3 beer specials inside the watering hole where10th Mountain Division soldiers once came to wind down a days work. John Denver and Hunter S. Thompson also claimed this as a regular spot.

Carri’s Catch: Take notice of the cobalt blue and gold tiles in the lobby of the hotel. When the hotel was remodeled in 1985, the tiles were ripped out. After their value was later realized, they were brought back and reinstalled.
