The new owners of Denver Mart are keeping momentum on their side with the opening of the Western Home & Design Center. Now under new ownership, the Denver Mart (formerly the Denver Merchandise Mart) is announcing the opening of the new Western Home & Design Center. “The Western Home and Design Center will be unlike any other western furnishing retail destination in Colorado, featuring many of the most unique and exclusive designs anywhere,” said John Doyle.“Our first phase will include 22 manufacturers, occupying 10,000 square feet of space, and provide both private buyers and the public the opportunity to see and purchase some of the finest western furnishing. We’ll be opening just in time for the Stock Show, and are looking forward to the opportunity of sharing this first, important venture towards the reincarnation of this tremendous retail mart.”
The Western Home and Design Center will feature art, rugs, hand-tooled chairs, dining tables, lighting and accessories from Desert Digs, Green Gables, Handle-Bar Ranch, Sonoran Range and Steel Strike. Plans are already in place to grow the Western Home and Design Center to 30,000 square feet by March 2013, and expand to as many as 40 vendors in following months.
