AEG Life and Icelantic Ski’a announce the third annual Icelantic’s WInter on the Rocks with JURASSIC 5 and Duck Sauce live at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.
The third annual Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks on Jan. 31 will be the premiere event of Winter 2014, featuring headliners Jurassic 5 and Duck Sauce at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater.
“We’re thrilled to announce the third annual Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks and continue to progress what has become a winter tradition here in Colorado,” said Sam Warren of Icelantic Skis. “This show embodies the lifestyle and passion at the core of the snow sports industry and the Icelantic family.”
Fans from all over the country will gather to see hip hop legends Jurassic 5 and DJ duo Duck Sauce. Jurassic 5 reunited earlier this year at Coachella Music and Arts Festival, and Winter on the Rocks will be their first Colorado show in eight years. Duck Sauce is formed by pan-generational DJ team A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, hirsute style icons that combine their talents to craft infectious anthems beloved throughout the world.
This year, organizers launched Road to the Rocks, a national contest offering the Ultimate Colorado Winter Experience prize package. One lucky winner and a guest will score VIP tickets to Winter on the Rocks, round trip airfare, four nights at the Hotel Teatro, a Jeep to drive during their stay, a VIP tour of Oscar Blues Brewery, lift tickets and two pairs of Icelantic skis.
