Women’s Social Tours at Beaver Creek are a sure-fire way to make new friends and network on the mountain.

For an experience unique to Beaver Creek, hop on a Women’s Social Tour.Led by ski school ambassadors, get ready to traverse the mountain with plenty of insider tips along the way. Get the locals perspective on everything from the best ways to avoid lift lines, where to find the best snow and the places with the tastiest grub. You may even pick up a few ski tips along the way! And because you’re skiing with an instructor, you can eliminate lines by zipping through “ski school” lift lines. “These tours can make women feel more comfortable. This way they don’t have to carry a map around and can ski with people who know the mountain,” says Ski School Instructor, Laurie Gongaware. On average, there are 9 to 20 people on the tours. Beaver Creek stirred up the idea as a way to promote something so important to this classic mountain town-community. “This is such a great way to meet new people. I have seen women go to lunch after, exchange cards and ski together the rest of the day,” says Hughes.

The two-hour tours meet at the base of the Centennial chair lift at 10 a.m. Tuesday- Friday. The tours change daily, so don’t limit yourself to just one! Recommended for intermediate skiers, includes a goodie bag and complimentary cocoa during the tour.
