There is nothing quite like a strawberry picked fresh off the vine–that even beats farm to table. Wards berry farm makes sure you can experience farm straight to the taste buds. Here strawberries are ready to be plucked from the pastures. Small buckets can be bought for $6.00 to take home but of course it never hurts to sample along the way.

Blueberries, raspberries and pumpkins can be picked during their growing seasons.

Two brothers started the farm 28 years ago and since have made sure there is an array of hand-harvested crops to choose from. Sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, peaches, peas, rhubarb and blueberries and herbs like basil, chives, cilantro, parsley and thyme start the list.

The shop inside also offers fresh baked goods and gourmet foods. Your stomach will not be the only one rumbling. Ducks, goats and ponies at the petting zoo can be fed right out of your hand.
