13th Floor Haunted House- Open Through Nov. 2
Ride the rickety elevator at the 13th Floor Haunted House and get ready to grab the person’s hand in front of you. After being thrown into a world filled with the echoes of creatures unknown, eery lighting, creeks and screams.. you realize it’s just the beginning. The Haunted House, near Brighton Boulevard and I-70, is proven to be one of Denver’s most spectacular by the lines snaking from the entrance. Spectacular because where else you can find a laser swamp, shifting halls, rotating tunnels and an impressive spread of animatronics? If you have been to this Haunted House before, it’s worth a trip back because the theme changes each year and the crew is always adding to their treasure chest of haunted get up.
Some story behind the 13th Floor: A team of superstitious builders thought terror would be saved by not building a 13th floor. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to leave this unlucky level to the subterranean confines of a locked basement? Sealed for years since– imagine what possible creatures unknown have shacked up here. Imagine no longer as you head onto the tracks for the Undead experience inside the abandoned farmhouse. To escape, fight through relentless zombies to make it to the end.
if you are up to this nightmarish challenge you can buy tickets here. The house is open today and tomorrow from 7:30pm to 11pm and November 1st and 2nd from 7pm to 11pm.
Carri’s Catch: If you are up for two haunted houses buy the 13th Floor/Asylum Combo VIP Fast Pass for $59.00. The Asylum is about five minutes away at 6100 E. 39th Ave. As a bonus the 113th survivor of the night to successfully navigate the halls of this grim house of evil will be refunded for their ticket.
