At 125 years old, the Glenwood Hot Springs is looking fan frickin’ tastic. To celebrate- there is a full line up of events and killer deals- visitors who buy one full price pool admission to the Glenwood Hot Springs will recieve a second for only $1.25 all day on May18th. Here’s a look at the fun.

4:00 P.M. – Beach Ball Drop from Historic Bathhouse – 1,000 beach balls cascade into pool

Dusk – Dive In Movie – The Great K&A Train Robbery

  • 2. Watch Ninja’s Compete

It’s an obstacle course so tough that thousands have attempted but only three have succeeded. This weekend in Denver, watch as people attempt tricky challenges at a qualifying course to fight for a spot on the NBC show “Ninja Warrior.” To move onto the national finals, competitors must complete the course set up at Civic Center Park. Those who are tough enough to do so jet to Las Vegas for a chance at earning the title “American Ninja Warrior,” along with a $500,000 grand prize. Free tickets available 

  • 3. Colorado’s Newest State Park Opens!

Staunton State Park, near Evergreen, is now open for anyone for outdoor enthusiasts! The grand opening celebration (May 18 and May 19) includes music, guided nature hikes, children’s activities, and a a chance to be first on the trails! Winding through pine forests, trails ranging in distance from just under a mile to 5.5 miles are open for hiking and biking. There are also several spots for rock climbing. Here’s a look at the trails
