Aviano Coffee is unveiling a revamped building and space at 244 Detroit Street, in Cherry Creek North, eemerging energized. With the move, Aviano has constructed a unique coffee bar. The coffee shop challenged the status quo  by eliminating batch brewing from their menu and implementing a separate brew-bar showcasing Intelligentsia Direct Trade  offerings. The storefront is completely encased with glass, and a custom aircraft hanger door opens the entire front of the shop to the outside, giving passers-by a full, unobstructed view of the coffee bar inside. The center-bar design showcases a 360-degree view of the coffee making process. Custom design elements are dominant throughout the space with plenty of steel, distressed concrete, reclaimed barn and boxcar wood contrasted with white marble. With plenty of standing bars, tables, bench seating, bar seating and a community table, everyone from the casual coffee drinker to most discerning specialty coffee consumer will find an area to enjoy.

“This is our most ambitious design. We’ve reinvented ourselves. We designed a store that has the ability to evolve as the industry changes or we want to advance,” said Doug Naiman, co-owner of Aviano Coffee. “We’ve been in soft-open mode for a couple of weeks now, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.”
