Breckenridge Brewery Opens In Littleton

Driving south on Sante Fe many have noticed a rather large complex being constructed over the last year. I was one of those many, and when I found out it was Breckenridge Breweries newest facility, I was more than excited.
After a year of anticipation, last night I had the honor of attending their VIP tasting event. Members of the brewing community and fellow beer lovers like myself gathered to see first hand the newest 36 million dollar project that was contracted south of Denver.
My fiancé and I immediately set off to the tasting room to have each of our favorite Breckenridge beers (Avalanche and Agave Wheat). We then made our way through the brewery to explore at our own pace. Along the way we were able to taste many of the “classics” as well as the Mountain series, with the Buddha’s Hand being a favorite for both of us.
Reaching the barrel room at the end of the tour where they had live music was my favorite stop. The smell of all the barrels was just astonishing. After taking our leisurely stroll through the brewery we finished the night sitting on the patio at the Farmhouse Restaurant across from the brewery and enjoyed the sunset along the Platte River.
Knowing how amazing the beer is, the rural architecture, along with the wood accents and pitched roofs, I can’t wait to make this a more regular spot that we go especially being just a stone away from the beautiful Platte River.
