Cape Cod, MA
Cape Cod, or the Cape, is one of those places that is naturally pretty much perfect. There are 559.6 miles of coastline to be exact- offering 60 public beaches. The Cape has become a major tourist destination but is no stranger to history. This was one of the first places settled by the English in North America and was a landmark for early explorers. Barnstable was the first town settled all the way back in 1639. Pilgrims who landed in 1620 stayed in Provincetown for five weeks before sailing across Cape Cod Bay to Plymouth. And there is something serene as you look into the Atlantic- you can just feel it.
There are 14 towns that comprise the Cape- and all offer there own feel. Surely you have heard of Cape Cod Potato Chips- they are sold all over the world and made right where the name implies.
