• When: September 20th, 2014 – Day wave of runners start at 5:30PM, Second wave starts at 7:30PM

• Where: Dicks Sporting Goods, located at 6000 victory way, Commerce City, CO 80022

 

COLOR FUN FEST 5K combines a 5k fun run with electronic dance music, all while coloring the crowd with thousands of pounds of vibrant colored powder. The event is family-friendly, and features a post-run celebration with DJ entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will be benefiting Free Arts for Abused Children, a nonprofit organization that gives children that have suffered adversity a chance to express themselves through art. Bring arts and crafts donations for the kids! The organization will be accepting donations at the event and there will also be a special performance by the children for all attendees.

THE 5K RUN

• 5 Kilometer course (3.1 miles)
• 5 color stations along the run with thousands of pounds of color to shower runners
• Night run features industrial strength blacklights and visual effects
• 2 water stations on the course
• A course with enough lighting to safely run at night

 

THE FINISH LINE

• Massive post-run celebration
• Plenty of vendors, food, and live entertainment
• Music throughout the festival
• Join in the monumental EPICOLORTOSS before and after the run with thousands of your fellow runners
