Rocky Mountain Brew Runs starts up Saturday April 30 at Oskar Blues in Longmont, Colorado. The event combines running, beer and games. From April to November, there are seven events at different microbreweries. Check out the full schedule here.
Details:
$25 registration fee. Includes a free beer, a pint glass and other signature swag, music, and delicious grub from local food trucks.
Post run festivities: include “Beer Olympics” games like a keg haul relay, triple jump while balancing a filled brew in hand and more Olympics inspired events.
What else to know:
Each event will include a fun challenge for several lucky runners. If a team of 2 can carry a filled keg (160lbs) the entire course without putting it down or transferring it to another participant and finish in under 45 minutes they each earn a beer filled growler to take home.
RMBR has partnered with local non-profit Epic Experience who organizes free access and instruction for outdoor adventures like whitewater kayaking, horseback riding and rock climbing to young people and adults with cancer.
