One thing we know about November– it’s a viral month where scruff is certain. “No Shave November” has definitely caught on, and most of the time it’s all for a good cause. Events like Denver’s Mustache Dache 5k further kick Movember into action by raising money for men’s health awareness, cancer research and prevention.
The Mustache Dache encourages men to rock their stache and come run, whether they be handlebars, flavor-savers or fu-manchus. For the ladies- face painters will be on site or you can shop online.
The $40 entry fee includes a shirt, mustache shaped finisher’s medal and after party complete with food trucks, drinks, photo booth and costume contest for most creative “best mustache.”
Making (mustache) moves: Since 2003, Movember participants have raised over $444 thousand dollars for the cause, funding 550 programs globally, with official Movember campaigns taking place in 21 countries.
