Denver’s Top Burgers Battle It Out for Honor of Best Burger!
Burger fanatics will be delighted to take part in the 3rd Annual Denver Burger Battle, modeled after Food and Wine’s National “Burger Bash” in Miami Beach. 12 of the Denver area’s best burgers, restaurants and chefs will participate in the event on August 22nd. Net proceeds benefi hunger charities of Denver.
Serving up their best burgers this year are: TAG, Cholon, The Sink. Highland Tap and Burger, Parkburger, Larkburger, Mateo, Madison St, H Burger, Row 14, Crave Real Burgers, and Citygrille.
“While Denver food fans have enjoyed burgers from long-time favorites, the pursuit of being named best burger has become difficult with the explosion of new signature burgers and dedicated burger restaurants,” says Jeremy Kossler, Denver Burger Battle founder. “This event showcases the best of the local burger scene, in an iconic venue, serving tastes from rising stars to old favorites and will ultimately crown Denver’sBest Burger.”
After savoring each and every entry, attendees will crown the People’s Choice of Best Burger. And an expert panel, including executive Chefs Max Mackissock of Squeaky Bean and Daniel Asher of Linger, Hosea Rosenberg of Top Chef, and Jenna Johansen, fresh off Bravo’s “Around the World in 80 Plates” will award the Judge’s Choice for Best Burger.
