Dress For Success B.Y.O.B. to Benefit Women in Need
Conventional wisdom tells us to dress for the job we want. But for some women that is easier said than done. The charitable organization “Dress for Success,” helps women in need by providing them with professional interview clothes that can’t afford them. You can help support the organization and women in need on Saturday at the fourth annual BYOB (bring your own bag) sale. You will find affordable couture from 20 boutiques that have donated new designer clothing. Steve Madden has also donated over 200 pairs of brand new shoes that will be sold at a fraction of the price. The event is from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. stop into Djuna (899 N. Broadway Denver)
Since 1997, Dress for Success has served more than 700,000 women around the world. Participants receive an initial interview outfit including a suit, handbag, shoes and accessories. Once she gains employment she is eligible to receive a ‘week’s worth’ of clothing. Dress for success also offers office clothes, image counseling, career guidance and financial planning to women looking to re-enter the work force.
