True “foodies” likely have the much-talked-about Cronu on their radar.  A cross between a donut and a croissant, the Cronut has attracted a cult following, with lines often several hours long just to get a taste of the gooey deliciousness.  Four Seasons Hotel Denver had to take a stab at creating its own version of the treat that has the culinary world abuzz.  After much fun experimenting with croissant and donut recipes, the team at Four Seasons Hotel Denver is giving the Mile High City a taste of its own version, dubbed the EDGE CroDough.

The EDGE CroDough is perfect for fall in a delectable pumpkin flavor. Featuring several sweet, flaky layers, it comes with a sugar glaze and a caramel dipping sauce.  Coming soon to the dessert menu at EDGE, the CroDough will sell for $10.00, and is large enough for two people to share.

For one day only, EDGE Restaurant is having a CroDough sale for a good cause.  On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, the EDGE CroDough’s will be sold at EDGE Restarant between 10 am to 2 pm for $3.00 each, or throw in an extra few bucks for a small LavAzza coffee.  October 16 is World Food Day, a day focused on taking action to end world hunger.  All funds from the October 16 CroDough sales at EDGE will be donated to Community Food Share, a food bank serving Boulder and Broomfield counties, which was greatly impacted by the recent Colorado flood.  Funds will be given to assist in replenishing the food bank, which services more than 50 local agency partners.

Guests are encouraged to stop in to EDGE anytime between 10 am and 2 pm on October 16 and purchase a CroDough.
