Local Businesses Rally Together to Help Estes Park Flood Recovery
It is incredible to see businesses unite together after a natural disaster….
Which is exactly what is happening after a recent flood wrecked havoc on many local businesses of Estes Park.
Estes Park Businesses have worked together to start a recovery fund for all the local companies that have been affected by the flood. The fund raising site www.SupportEstesPark.com has been designed to provide people all over the country the opportunity to help out with the recovery process.
The flood came at a time when businesses needed autumn income to get through the slower winter season.
Businesses suffered physical damage, as well as, a loss of income due to road closure and government closure of the national park.
Roads have reopened, but businesses still need your help to survive until the beginning of the next tourist season…
So, how can you help?
A website has been designed to give you the opportunity to help the businesses of Estes Park that have been impacted by the flood.
When you visit www.SupportEstesPark.com, there are a number of options. Visitors to the site may purchase pre-assemble gift boxes containing items from eight different Estes Park merchants who have contributed to this project. Gift certificates may be purchased here from any of the participating business, as well, with portions of these purchases staying with the recovery fund.
It is the Giving Time of Year
It is a fantastic time of year to purchase certificates and gift boxes. What better way to participate in the gift-giving season than offering those in your life a gift that gives back?
Visitors may also just donate funds if they desire. And now, in partnership with United Way, your donations are tax deductible and will make a lasting difference to businesses needing your help.
Visit the support page and help us get these Estes Park businesses back contributing to the community.
