Might Leaf Tea Cocktails

Some people like to relax with a nice cup of tea, while others unwind from a long day with a stiff cocktail. And now, thanks to Mighty Leaf, you can enjoy both beverages together: with tea infused cocktails.

Sound a little crazy? I thought so too, until I tried one of their innovative tea cocktail recipes, the Earl Grey Infused Martini. I steeped four Mighty Leaf Tea Organic Earl Grey tea pouches in a bottle of vodka for 2 hours, and then mixed it with cassis in a shaker. After straining the drink over ice and topping it off with club soda, I took my first sip. The tea-infused vodka was surprisingly delicious!

Infusing your booze with tea adds a unique and fresh twist on cocktail recipes, just in time for the season of summer entertaining. There are endless possible combinations of tea and spirits, but the use of tea as a mixer is relatively new. That means that next time you have guests over, you can wow them with your new flavorful creations.

Might Leaf’s tea is ideal for cocktail mixing, since they put whole tea leaf in their pouches. That means that the flavors can shine through, with distinct ingredients like organic Moroccan spearmint, hibiscus blossoms, pineapple bits, and orange peels. Mighty Leaf’s tea is known for being the highest quality. You’ll often find it at 5 star restaurants, which means that it’s sophisticated enough for any fine spirits in your liquor cabinet.

On Mighty Leaf’s website, you can check out a video and learn how to make cocktails like a Yuzu Mitsu, Twisted Ginger and Bourbon Nectar with tea. Once you have those down, it’s time to start experimenting with flavors and inventing your very own drink.

Start practicing now, and you’ll have the recipe perfected for summer!
