New Movie Theater in Littleton Offers Unique Experience for Moviegoers
Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton adds new spin on movie going experience
Nothing is ordinary about the new movie theater opening in Littleton’s Aspen Grove Shopping Center. With competing theatres nearby, the Alamo DraftHouse had to offer something no other theatres are. That’s a simple task for the successful Texas-based chain, which offers something different when it comes to combining food, drink and film. The cleverly named “Glass Half Full” bar will serve 19 Colorado brews and cocktails made with Stranahan’s and Leopold Brother’s whiskies. Made from scratch menu items are fresh out the kitchen to enjoy while watching a film on one of the seven big screens. The films aren’t the typical box office hits. Instead you will find first-run, independent and specialty films.
Another reason the Alamo Drafthouse is expected to sell out crowds- no previews! Instead viewers are entertained by rare clips, videos and shorts that are custom created for the feature film. We do have one piece of advice- don’t even think about texting in the theater! Unless you are trying to get the boot. The Alamo Drafthouse won’t think twice before kicking out anyone with chatty cell phone habits. Enjoy the show!
