Each person gets their turn to throw a ring at a stick held into a small platform. The person who gets to shoot a lot of rings to the stick wins. Even the little ones that are too tiny to throw will enjoy ring toss.

Capture the Flag

If you are looking for a more intense game, play capture the flag. To play this, split your group into two teams. Give each team a flag or if you don’t have a flag you can use a handkerchief. Send each team to a different nearby location, the large space the better. Each team should hide their flag where the opponent cannot find. When you say begin, teams must race to try to find the other team’s flag and bring it back to their base without getting seen by the other team. If seen, you can be tagged with two hands or hit with a water balloon. If someone gets caught, they can be out of the game or put into the opponent’s side and can be saved by a team member who has to take them back to their side.

Charades

While this game can be played indoors, its much more exciting to play it outside. Guaranteed to give a lot of laughs and interaction, as everyone has to act out on your preferred category, it can be from a movie, book, or a tv show with no words, only actions and hand signals. The more people, the funnier you get.

Bocce Ball

You’ve played bocce ball once in your life and if not, you’re missing out. Playing bocce ball is easy. Each team takes two colored balls. The person who first tosses a small white ball anywhere they wain the open space. Then the teams take turns trying to get their colored ball the closes to the ball that was first thrown. Whoever owns the ball that gets closest to the white ball wins a point. There is a specific rule stated on the box that comes along with the ball but if you want to play on your own rules much better.

Hopscotch

This is an all-time favorite and everyone has played this game when they were young. This is a game where you don’t need to spend a dollar to play. All you need is some chalk or a piece of rock that can draw squares, then the kids even teenagers amuse themselves for hours while hopping, jumping, and counting. As the saying goes, “An oldie but goodie”
