Pakems Launches Kickstarter Campaign
One of my favorite Colorado companies is Pakems- a stylish, lightweight, warm and packable shoe for post slopes. Check out the interview with the founder here.
The company is launching a Kickstarter campaign to produce a new shoe called the Mile High Pakems, which play homage to the Broncos sporting a blue and orange. It’s not just for the slopes but made for tailgating or hanging on the couch watching a game. Denver-based and inspired by the spectacular Colorado outdoors, these new Mile High Pakems showcase the company’s pride in its home state. The ultimate choice for relaxing comfortably, Pakems are perfect for getting out of ski boots, snowboard boots, hiking boots, bike cleats, or any other technical footwear, and perfect for traveling and camping.
The Pakems Kickstarter campaign was created to raise the funds necessary to produce these special edition Mile High Pakems. Superstar Denver athletes, Julius Thomas and Montee Ball, both big fans of Pakems, are trying to get Pakems produced. Check out the video to see them in the video.
The Mile High Pakems Kickstarter Campaign kicks off with a party at Jake’s Food and Spirits, 3800 Walnut St. in Denver, on Monday Oct. 20th from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Both Julius Thomas and Montee Ball will be there, along with the entire Pakems team, and other Mile High athletes. There will be a silent auction, including one-of-a-kind memorabilia, and a variety of door prizes. A $12 cover charge at the door provides entry to the party and one free drink ticket.
