Review: Elliot Luca lara Foldover Tote & 3 Way Demi Clutch
Summer is right around the corner and if you’re anything like me, you are bursting at the seams to get your summer wardrobe out and about. I love how when summer comes back, so do colors and patterns. This year I am really into floral prints, the really bold ones, with lots of bright, poppy colors. My favorite way to bring these into my wardrobe is with an accessory like a scarf, or cute pair of shoes or my favorite accessory of all time, bags. Elliott Lucca, one of my go-to bag designers, has 2 bags this season that will be spending very little time in my closet: the Spring Botanica lara Foldover Tote and the Artisan 3 Way Demi Clutch.
I love the lara Foldover Tote, the Spring Botanica design, in black, for a few reasons. Yes, it’s beautiful, inside and out but it’s also functional and goes with everything. I think of it as one of those ‘true classics’ in my closet. It’s never going out of style. It looks cute with anything from jeans and a tank to my little black dresses. It has the black background to it with those bright pops of color in the flowers. Another thing I am crazy about is the leather component- it beyond soft. Another huge selling point for me is that it’s actually 3 totes in 1. Depending on the occasion, I wear mine over my shoulder, across my body and even as a clutch, just more reasons that it is a bag I never have to worry about switching out.
The Artisan 3 Way Demi Clutch is another incredible summer must have. It has the same colors as the Spring Botanica Iana Foldover, so I am immediately drawn to it. The details that Elliott Lucca added with their one of a kind hardware and tassels make this clutch that much more attractive. And again, its versatility allows it to go with any of your classy outfits. I love to use mine as a clutch because it’s low maintenance. I can grab it when I am on the go when I don’t need to take a tote full of goodies with me. But on those days that I want to wear it with a strap over my shoulder or across my body, I can because it comes with a removable strap.
I love Elliott Lucca’s creations for their simple yet beautiful designs. The fabric they use is luxurious and the compartments are always in the right place. One of my favorite sayings is ‘look good, feel good’ and I know that this summer, when I have my Iana Foldover Tote or my Artisan 3 Way Clutch Demi, I will be feeling great.
