Review: Foreo Luna

The older I get, the more I care about my skin. Gone are the days of brushing off washing my face at night after a long day. It’s an important priority. And to make sure skin stays in check I have been doing a lot of digging. Is it best to wash with hands, a wash cloth or is there something better out there? The Foreo Luna was recommended to me and I decided to go for it. Anything for clean and radiant skin plus the reviews rock. Vogue said is “revolutionizing the beauty world.” That’s a pretty big reputation to live up to and peaked my curiosity.

The LUNA is a small, handheld device that is used to essentially make your current cleanser and skin care products more effective. It has soft, silicone bristles that vibrate at different frequencies to deeply cleanse skin and enhance absorption of lotions and moisturizers.

To unlock the LUNA’s anti-aging powers, simply flip it over, switch the frequency with the push of a button, and use the other side to massage your skincare products in. This side uses lower-frequency pulsations to enhance your complexion’s natural glow, channeling them through curved surfaces of concentric waves to wrinkle-prone areas. In plain English, your skin is going to appear smoother, firmer and more elastic. Wrinkles and fine lines will also be reduced, and your facial muscles will feel relaxed after a gentle massage.

One of my favorite parts about the LUNA is how easy it is to use. Just put your regular cleanser or soap on your face, and hit power. You’ll feel the entire tool start to vibrate, which is actually T-sonic pulsations that are working extra hard to remove make up, deeply cleanse your skin, and unclog and reduce the size of pores. Using the LUNA actually feels quite relaxing and helps me unwind before my head hits the pillow.

So is the LUNA worth the investment? The results speak for themselves: it’s definitely an effective product.
