Review of Sperry Top-Sider Shoes

Sperry is known for their ubiquitous, classic boat shoes. But the preppy-chic shoe brand also produces excellent adventure travel footwear. I recently tested out the new Sperry Top-Sider H2O Escape, a great sneaker for water sport lovers.

If you’re planning a waterfront getaway this summer and plan to get active in, on or around water, the new Sperry Top-Sider H2O Escape is ultimate shoe to have. They’re extremely lightweight, making them ideal for packing, but the real reasons these are the best are their water-resisting capabilities. The shoes feature a quick-drying interior along with synthetic and mesh uppers so you can be comfortable all day long. Additionally, the removable footbed is perforated with internal water channels that allow water to escape efficiently. The EVA midsole also features internal water channels that have superb drainage, and a durable rubber outsole disperses water from underfoot, reducing slippage.
