Ritz Carlton Toronto Offers Art Experience You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
When you stay at a Ritz Carlton you know every element of the stay is going to exceed expectations, even if they are already aimed at the stars. And the Ritz Carlton Toronto offers the same experience- and beyond fantastic service, décor and amenities, the hotel offers an art program with local artist, Jacqueline Poirier. She has caught the eye of celebrities like Morgan Freeman and Al Pacino after painting their portraits on plates. She got her start after a manager at the hotels onsite restaurant, TOCA, where she is still a server from time to time, commissioned her to create some plates after noticing her talent at a local art show.
The images and scenes she paints range from animals, people, scenic spots and Toronto landscapes. The art has caught so much hype that she has launched her own business and works out of a studio in downtown Toronto.
She now commissions work for larger groups like the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as takes custom orders. But best of all is painting side by side with Jacqueline at the hotel during a class.
This experience can be booked through the hotel.
