Travelers to Denver’s Historic Union Station will soon have another option when it comes to lunch and dinner dining.
The historic station has undergone a complete $48 million renovation. Partners Chris Davis and Kevin Stephenson, of design firm Boss Architecture, are at the helm of redesigning this 2,000 square foot space. You know it’s going to be good when the duo are also behind: Rioja, Bistro Vendôme and Euclid Hall Bar + Kitchen
The New “Crafted Concepts” Delight
Crafted Concepts owners Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch already have not one, but three highly acclaimed restaurants in Denver and are excited for the new project.
“We’re thrilled to be opening up our fourth restaurant from the Crafted Concepts family in this iconic development. Beth and I want this restaurant to be number one in peoples’ minds when they think of seafood. It’s going to be off the hook,” said Jasinski.
Jasinski and Gruitch are working with chef de cuisine Jorel Pierce of Euclid Hall on the creative concept of S&G fish. They are working together to bring something different, something iconic, and something that reflects the historic character of Denver’s Union Station.
What lies at the heart of development for S&G?
Two words,
“Stoic and Genuine,” said Gruitch. “Every decision we’ve made on this restaurant from interior design to menu to beverage program revolves around the phrase ‘Stoic and Genuine. We want S&G Fish to be iconic, just like Denver Union Station.”
The Food, Bar, and Atmosphere
Grower champagnes by the glass and bottle, a granita bar, and artful cocktail creations will have diners delighting in the aromas and experience. Flavors are being created for superb accompaniment to oysters, lobsters, and smoked fish.
The focus is on clean and fresh preparations with only the finest of ingredients.
Diners will have the option of beautiful seating indoors or on one of the two patios facing the serene fountain of Union Station Plaza. Fabulous food, spectacular atmosphere, and dining fun! Fresh and evocative S&G is bound to be a favorite among travelers and locals alike!
