I am always on the lookout for my next adventure and found it at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe West VA, just three hours from Washington DC, for an off road Razor tour deep into the back country.

In this mountain village you will find a cobblestone-lined mountaintop village and the most skiable terrain below the Mason-Dixon. What’s unique about Snowshoe Mountain is that the village is at the top of the ski mountain- creating a haven of blue skies views above the clouds.

Along the way, you will traverse over rugged terrain before arriving at the Sunrise Back Country Hut for a multi-course dinner among friends and family. Expect winter favorites like beef stew and pecan-crusted tilapia washed down by local beer and wines.

Afterwards stay at the Corduroy Inn, a boutique style hotel at the top of the Powder Monkey chairlift.
