mosaics and frescoes are placed to tell a religious allegory. Others are designed to illustrate the story of the Benedictine Monastic followers that live on the grounds. The Church was built in 2000 in the Roman Basilica style.

The pipe organ was built by Nelson Barden & Associates of Boston, MA. It is a restoration and expansion of components from a number of 20th century organs of the E.M. Skinner Organ Company. When completed, it will include 150 ranks and 12,000 pipes resonating through the aisles. It packs a punch.

Guided tours of the Church are offered on Monday – Saturday (closed Wednesday) at 11am and 1, 3 and 4:30pm.
