The Great Pumpkin Haul

Chatfield Botanic Gardens
The Great Pumpkin Haul involves strength, agility and hauling a pumpkin on a 2 mile cross country course. Before the “Haul” you will pick out a pumpkin from the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield’s pumpkin patch and carry it over, under and through a variety of fun obstacles.
Start the day in our free Pumpkin Bootcamp by Orange Theory Fitness or join the Pumpkin Yoga class late morning to warm up with exercises and stretches using your pumpkin.
After the Haul hang out at our fall festival for seasonal craft brews, hot apple cider, food trucks, hay rides and discounted tickets to the corn maze.
There are fun awards for the fastest hauler, “tough pumpkin” award to the hauler carrying the heaviest pumpkin, costume contest, biggest team and also a “hauler baler” category for those brave enough to take on 2 pumpkins solo.
The Pumpkin haul benefits a great charity: Camp Como, they organize adventures and camps to encourage kids to get outside and active!
