Thursday Happenings In & Around Denver
1. Eat Pizza!
Live Basil Pizza opens today! This is the latest from business partners Tom Ryan and Rick Schaden, who are also behind Smashburger and Tom’s Urban 24. The fast-casual pizza chain, located just off I-25 and Hampden, aims to move customers through the line in 4 minutes with pizza in hand. With a focus on freshness and quality ingredients, like the basil grown on site, pizza is assembled in front of guests. Prices aren’t steep either. Walk away with an 11-inch fresh pie for 8 bucks!
2. Drink with Pete Coors!
Cheers Pete Coors as he awards Morrison Holiday Bar the title of one of the ‘Best Banquet Bars in America’ tonight at 6 p.m. You will also be offered a sneak peek of the new Banquet Stubby Bottle – a 12 oz. container that’s modeled after the brand’s post-prohibition design, which officially debuts on June 1. Specials will be rocking all night.
3. Take A Ferrari or Lamborghini for a Ride Without Rules.
Imagine Lifestyles is rolling through Denver May 23- May 26 and bringing a fleet of fancy cars with them. Take a 3-lap ride along on an autocross course with an instructor in your choice of vehicle, going high speeds! Rides are set up at Sports Authority Filed at Might High.
