Monkey Bar Challenge at Tough Mudder in Beaver Creek, Colorado
Face down in cold mud, ducking low to keep away from barbed wire. Electrified by low-hanging wires. Scaling up a slicked up 15-foot-high walls. Running 11 hillish and hellish miles. Jumping into a dumpster filled with ice. All to be met by more danlging live wires waiting to zap us– some with a 10,000-volt jolt. Endure all of this, and you become a Tough Mudder. More than 25,000 people trudged through the hills of Beaver Creek Colorado on June 15 to earn the title. But with a Dos Equis and muddy high fives waiting at the finish line, how could you not be tempted to enter the battle field? Plus, if you complete the race, you can are awarded an orange headband that make the grueling course worth the pain. Oo-rah!
