Tubbs Snowshoes 5k Kicks off Frisco Gold Rush Weekend!

The Tubbs Snowshoes 5k is the opening event for the 43rd Annual Frisco Gold Rush weekend!  The 5k will take racers through the Frisco Nordic Center trails with breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range.  The race is open to athletes of all ages and abilities and snowshoe rentals are available at the Frisco Nordic Center.  The top 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female to cross the finish line will walk away with a new pair of Tubbs Snowshoes!  Stay in Frisco on Saturday, January 26th and enjoy our Spontaneous Combustion bonfire from 6p.m.-8p.m. with a fireworks display around 7p.m.!!  A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Summit Nordic Ski Club.
