The world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees will be in Denver Monday, April 1 for the Unique Lives & Experiences lecture series. Dr. Jane Goodall started studying our closest animal relative in Tanzania. Goodall was only 26 years old when she stepped into the Gombe Stream Chimpanzee Reserve to start what was the beginning of her research empire. Through her work and observations, she broke ground that chimpanzees have similar emotions, instinct and social relationships as humans. She will share insights about threats facing chimps and her reasons for hope in the uncertainty.
The Unique Lives and Lecture series is designed to motivate, challenge and enlighten. There are two more speakers:
Sissy Spacek, “My Extraordinary Life” Tuesday, May 14
& Dionne Warwick “From Burt Bacharach to Whitney Houston” & Tuesday, June 4
