Winter Park Wipeout
We held on tight as a snowmobile towed us through fresh powder, rushed through a snow maze and practiced our aim by shooting pinto beans at targets. To find such whacky and outlandish fun, look no further than the Winter Park Wipeout. The first year event didn’t lack when it came to organization. Racers took off in crazy costumes and criss crossed Winter Park completing challenges you likely haven’t seen before. From Jenga, to eating pancackes without hands and hammerslaugin’ a nail into a board, our group was laughing the entire way. Since the race isn’t about competition, you are sure to make a few new pals along the way. After sledding down a hill, running past a snow making machine and jumping into a potato sack to hop across the finish- it was about s’mores, music, hot chocolate and beer from Avery Brewing Company. I have never experienced an event quite like the Winter Park Wipeout and can’t wait for year number two!
