August 7 – 11: 10th Annual Steamboat Wine Festival
At the Steamboat Wine Festival master winemakers and culinary greats gather to play, wine, and dine in beautiful Steamboat Springs. Experience more than 100 food artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries, epicurean purveyors, and locally-made products at this ultimate food and wine experience. Don’t miss the Grand Tasting Toast of Steamboat on Saturday. This is the grand finale of the event, with over 500 wines, premium beer, and a variety of parings from local restaurants. Tickets prices range from $55 – $165 per person.

August 21 – 22: USA Pro Challenge
Thousands of spectators cheer as Elia Viviani of Team Liquigas-Cannondale races toward the finish line of stage 4 of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Steamboat Springs Friday afternoon in Steamboat Spring.
The USA Pro Challenge will return to Steamboat Springs in 2013. Riders will race through nine host cities throughout Colorado with the Bike Town USA Stage in Steamboat Springs on August 21st and August 22nd. The race events will be accompanied by live music, a sunset happy hour celebration at the top of the Gondola, ice cream social, kids trials, the Team Flying Wheels BMX Series, and more. There is no charge to watch the Pro Challenge arrival or start/departure.

August 31 – September 1: Labor Day Weekend & Wild West Air Fest:

Labor Day Weekend in Steamboat Springs is packed with entertainment in the air, on the mountain and all over town! It’s a Labor Day celebration for the whole family. The Wild West Air Fest features a vintage and warbird static aircraft display, classic cars, radio controlled airplane shows, Wings Over the Rockies KidSpace and much more! Admission is$6 for adults, $3 for youth ages 12-6, and FREE for 5 and under.

September 20 – 22: 5th Annual Steamboat OktoberWest

Celebrate the season at a Steamboat-style Oktoberfest including Rocky Mountain beer, local food specialties and festivities found only in Steamboat Springs. Steamboat’s OktoberWest celebration takes Oktoberfest and stamps it with Steamboat’s own western brand. No German beer here, just good ol’ Colorado Rocky Mountain beer, food and festivities. OktoberWest at the Steamboat Mountain Village is free to attend, features great live music, the I Love Beef Cook Off and plenty of regional beers to taste in the beer garden. The kids will have a blast at the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone at a 50% discount. Try out the new Water Wakerz, Ropes Course and the all-time favorite, Slingshot Bungee Jump! Prices for OktoberWest are:
