Colorado Couple Puts Protein Packed Pancakes on the Market
No longer are pancakes a treat for weekends only. Flap Jacked Protein Pancakes pack in nutrients and flavor. One serving includes up to 17 grams of protein and are free of additives, preservatives and artificial anything. They are also gluten free, high in fiber and have a high quality whey protein isoalte. Flavors include: buttermilk, cinnamon apple and banana hazlenut.
A Colorado couple, Jennifer and David Bacon, founded the company as a way to healthily fuel their active family. The company began selling online in February of this year and has quickly caught the attention of retailers. It is currently carried at 75 Colorado King Soopers stores, with Sprouts and Whole Foods distribution in the process. “We are firm believers that we are what we eat and we reflect that belief into our products. We personally hand select our ingredients to ensure premium quality. All ingredients are natural, but more importantly, we do not buy or endorse GMO products or ingredients,” says Jenifer Bacon.
