Enjoy Colorado’s Wine Landscapes By Bike
You don’t need to be on the coast or in the heart of France to experience a wine landscape by Bike. Tour De Vineyard brings the experience to Colorado the same weekend as Colorado Mountain Winefest. Before the wine festivities take off, cycle 25-miles through the Colorado’s Wine Country. Picture yourself cruising along quiet country lanes, slowly gliding past vineyards, local wineries and fruit orchards through the heart of Palisade, CO. After the ride, you will be ready to explore the festival where even more you can sample wine from more than 50 of the state’s wineries.
The Course: The Tour de Vineyards is considered an easier ride with one big hill and the rest of the course being rolling to flat. An aid station is available at Carlson Vineyards (approximately half way through the course) which features famous “Palisade Peaches” from Talbott Farms.
The Start & Finish is located in Palisade at Peach Bowl Park (take exit 42 off I-70 and go south less than a mile to 5th and Elberta). The ride begins between 7-8 am at your leisure.
Register by Sept. 9 for $45. Then the fee goes up to $50.
