Record Attendece at Colorado Mountain Wine Fest

 

A record 6,000 people from 38 states turned out for the 22nd annual Colorado Mountain Winefest September 21 in Palisade, Colorado to sample wines from more than 4-dozen Colorado wineries. Pacing was key as more than 423 types of wine were served to celebrate the fall harvest! Though the focus was on the wine, guests could also find live music, cuisine, crafts and plenty of local vendors.

Here are three reasons you should sign up for next year! Hotel rooms sell out fast so the sooner you start planning, the better!

1. Several winemakers are onsite so you sample and learn tasting notes from the creators themselves.

2.Picture Perfect! The weather in September in Palisade is dynamite with cooler fall temps. Grab a blanket and bottle and enjoy live music in River Bend Park for a relaxing wine filled day.

3.Get your feet dirty! Slots quickly filled up for grape stomping where more than 600 pounds of grapes were crushed!
